Heart Surgery to a Heart Healthy Smoothie:

A few years ago, I never imagined I would end up with a stent and later a pacemaker. My health journey has definitely had a few twists and turns.

For years, I had strange episodes that no one could explain. I would sometimes feel a sudden rush through my body or a faint feeling while standing in line at a store. It was confusing and a little scary. I went to different doctors trying to find answers.

Eventually, one cardiologist suggested wearing a heart monitor for a few days. When the results came back, he called me and told me to go straight to the emergency room. The monitor showed that my heart rhythm had been pausing during sleep. He told me I was lucky we caught it when we did.

Not long after that, I had a stent placed and later received a pacemaker. That experience really changed the way I think about my health. It made me realize how important it is to listen to your body and take care of yourself.

One habit that helped me in the past was drinking morning smoothies, so recently I decided it was time to start that routine again. I bought a NutriBullet and began making simple smoothies in the morning.

My favorite Heart Healthy Smoothie is very simple:

  • frozen berries
  • strawberries
  • half a banana
  • almond milk
  • chia seeds or flaxseed

Sometimes I also add a handful of spinach or a little avocado. It only takes about 30 seconds to blend, and it’s a great way to start the day.

When I was drinking smoothies regularly before, I noticed several positive changes. My digestion improved, I had more energy during the day, and I even experienced gradual weight loss. I’m excited to see those benefits again as I get back into the habit.

Along with smoothies, I’ve also added my daily wellness routine with my AM and PM Essentials. These products are designed to support cellular regeneration, and I’ve really enjoyed incorporating them into my day. Read more about this product on my other page.

The AM Essentials help give me a nice boost of energy during the day, especially when combined with my morning smoothie. It helps me stay more focused and active throughout the day.

In the evening, I take the PM Essentials. I’ve found that they help me relax and wind down at night. When I wake up in the morning after taking the PM Essentials, I often feel refreshed and ready to start the day again. If you would like to read even more, from the Manufacturer, or get your own Am/Pm GO HERE.

Between my smoothies, my wellness supplements, and following my doctor’s advice, I’m focusing on building healthy habits that support my heart and overall well-being.

I’m not a doctor, just someone who has learned a lot through personal experience. But I believe sharing our stories can help encourage others who may be on their own health journey.

For me, it all starts with something simple every morning — a smoothie and a commitment to take better care of myself.
